How do I start earning cashback?

Who qualifies for Fancy Rewards? 

Anyone who rents a home or apartment can use Fancy. 

You don’t need to be affiliated with a specific building or property management company. 

Homeowners can still use the app to earn cashback on retail purchases but are not eligible for rent cash back. 

Do I need to notify my landlord to participate? 

Nope. Just link your account and confirm your rent details. If your property is in the Fancy network, you’ll automatically see additional benefits. 

You can link your account, verify your lease and earn rewards without notifying your landlord. 

Once verified, Fancy automatically detects your rent payments and tracks your progress toward rewards. 

What happens if my property manager joins Fancy later? 

If your property joins the Fancy network later, you’ll automatically unlock enhanced features such as instant lease verification, communication tools, and exclusive rewards. 

How do I identify or confirm my rent payment? 

1. Click on the keys at the top of the home screen in the app. 
2. Click on fill-in rent details. 
3. Enter you lease details. 
4. Once lease details have been submitted, click on ‘Rent Rewards at the bottom of the screen. 
5. Select your monthly rent transaction to help Fancy identify your monthly rent payment.
